The auction will be conducted in a live onsite format and simulcast online.

The following explains each bidding method and how the bids are executed
Live Onsite Bidding
This is by far the most recommended bidding options due to the fact that by default your bid will be recognised on sight by the auctioneers and carries no risk due to any technical failures.
- On registration each bidder will be provided a bid card with a unique number associated with their registration details (photo ID required)
- To bid simply indicate clearly to the auctioneer or spotter/s your bid by simply raising your hand, bid card.
- When you have won the offered lot clearly display your bid card number to the auctioneer or spotters.
- The winning bid amount and the bid card number will be verbally announced by the auctioneer and recorded by the clerk.
Live Online Bidding
Bidding live online is a method in which a bidder can participate in the live auction bidding process by watching and listening to the live broadcast. As with all technical applications live online bidding can carry the risk of any latency or disruption of service. There is an additional fee for online bidders.
- Registration – bidders can register online by entering details online. To verify identity a credit/debit card must be validated (makes and voids a 1c purchase. Full card details are not stored online)
- On registration each online bidder will receive a digital number that is associated with their registration details.
- Place bids by simply clicking the BID NOW button which shows on every lot offered. The bid button will indicate if you have been out bid.
- When the bid is received it will be called to the auctioneer by the clerk. The bid must be accepted by the auctioneer to be recorded.
- When you have won the lot your details along with the winning bid amount will be automatically recorded
Phone Bidding
Phone bidding is a method in which the bidder can relay their bid to the auctioneers by phone.
- Registration – bidders can register online or in person. Identification is by photo ID or card validation
- On registration each phone bidder will receive a bidder number that is associated with their registration details.
- Phone bids must be registered with the auctioneers.
- The auctioneers will call each phone bidder before the lot they are interested in is offered.
- Once the lot is offered the auctioneers will relay to the phone bidder if they have the winning bid and what increments are being accepted.
- Simply indicate to the phone clerk if and when you wish to bid.
- When you have won the lot your bidder number will be displayed to the auctioneer by the clerk
Absentee Bidding
Absentee bidding is a method in which the bidder can place a maximum bid amount and the auctioneer will bid on their behalf.
- Registration can be online or live (relevant ID required).
- Absentee bids can be placed with the auctioneers either live or online prior to the auction.
- If placing absentee bids online there is a window of 8 seconds to confirm your bid.
- At auction the auctioneers will bid on your behalf against floor and/or live online bidders up to no more than the maximum bid amount.
- When you have won the lot the winning bid will be recorded by the auction clerk
- An email will be sent immediately advising that you have won the bid.
Futurity Jumping Event
(2026 Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show)
The Futurity Jumping Event will be first conducted at the 2026 Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show, following the successful completion of the Inaugural Australian Show Jumping Horse Sale. It will be for horses purchased at the 2025 Australian Show Jumping Horse Sale. There will be a potential prize pool of $16,000 across all Futurity Classes.
Futurity Classes at the 2026 Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show will depend on how many horses are sold at the Inaugural Australian Show Jumping Horse Sale.
